She talked about January feeling eternal and I always felt the same way - especially as a teacher. It just seemed to drag on and on. Feb. 1st was always a milestone. Thanks for reading the blog and keeping in touch. Onward to summer vacation for you now!Tres Rios Project: Joe and Jennie Westfallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02513120187515942891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7937346955945674499.post-27535748280543422112012-06-23T09:20:25.416-07:002012-06-23T09:20:25.416-07:00Hi Jennie.

And during the school year, I know each week goes by because my weekend routine is usually quite different from my weekday routine. I do think I feel the doldrums of things by late August when habutualy I'm out of that weekday-weekend rhythm, and I know I can't call friends during their work time (the ones that aren't teachers).
I am thankful for the teaching routine because it is cyclical. I know when an end comes and that keeps me motivated. Not sure how I'd be with a different kind of job where every day (incuding the summer) is pretty much the same and with no mile-stones or end dates in sight.
That's all I've got for now. Thanks so much for writing about your experiences in Costa Rica, Jennie. Keep it up!
JustinAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
